My name is Karina Perez and I’m a Mexican- American illustrator and designer originally from Edinburg, TX. I earned my BFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in June 2020. I currently work as an Assistant Artist at Kohls Inc. based out of Portland, OR.
I love to illustrate lush scenes of home, lifestyle, and food with bright colors and direct inspiration from my Mexican-American background. My passions lie in editorial, children’s books and product illustration.
Previously, I have worked with Chronicle Books, NPR, Disney, Twitter, Pearson Education, and Jolt Texas. I am always looking for projects that inspire others to make an active change within their communities.
